The I-355 tollway extension is complete! 

Governor Blagojevich Celebrates Illinois Tollway’s Completion of I-355 South Extension, Significantly Reducing Travel Times and Improving Commutes in Fastest Growing Suburbs(11/12/2007)

The 12.5 mile extension takes the I-355 from I-55 (the Stevenson Expressway) in Bolingbrook through Will County to I-80 in New Lenox.  It runs through 13 municipalities including Bolingbrook, Homer Glen, Lemont, Lockport, New Lenox, Romeoville, and Woodridge.  Six  interchanges include at I-55, 127th Street, 143rd Street, 159th Street, Route 6 and I-80.
